Gabi Marcellus-Temple - Curator

Gabi is an artist, writer and translator based in Plymouth. Her practice as a visual and performance artist is highly political and engaged in the exploration of emotional response through the communication of a message.
Gabi will be curating the MEMORIA exibition.

  Louise Rabey
- Co-curator
  Illustrator. Specialising in all things cute and  
  colourful, Louise’s work currently explores
  storytelling through imagery. Her visual  
  narratives aim to pull at the heartstrings of her  
  audience, and some of her recent projects work 
  towards shining a light on mental health and  
  animal welfare. More about Louise on her page

  Johana Mora-Solórzano - Team Assistant

  Johana is an Entrepreneurship graduate interested
  in social and economic equality.  Johanna helps
  with the logistics/set up of every session.

  Andy Blackwell - Theatre Maker
  Andy is a theatre tutor, director, performer, poet, sculptor, author and social worker.  He has worked with The Barbican Theatre, 
  Plymouth Presents, Plymouth Museum, The Saltash Committee and has tutored two local home schooled groups. Andy has  
  always considered theatre a force for social change, so in 2004 he co-founded Mirror  Mirror Playback Theatre Company, where
  he has continued to devise and perform to a diverse range of public audiences, maintaining a particular style and a strong    
  connection to the Refugee and Asylum Seeker community in Plymouth and the South Hams. Andy has recently published his first
  novel Juniper’s Odyssey and is writing his second one. He will be tutoring and directing the students to create a theatre play for  
  the MEMORIA show. Mirror Mirror theatre

  Lola Francis - Editor and Designer of publication
  Lola is a student reading Geography at Oxford University. She is based in Plymouth and has her own feminist publication The Glass 
  Ceiling Magazine

  Lola will be creating the publication documenting the MEMORIA project.

Faye West - Videographer
Faye is the Motion Graphics and Film Editor of Fotonow, a Plymouth based media social enterprise, specialising in community focused photographic and film projects. Faye is a disabled queer woman passionate about fair representation within our culture; through her work, she always looks to challenge existing perceptions and create new and exciting solutions. At Fotonow she is able to support others in telling their stories. Faye will be collaborating with MEMORIA, in the name of FotoNow, as the videographer documenting the project. More about FotoNow.
